Funky Buddha London

Funky Buddha London has closed, and Itzel now operates at its Berkeley Street address. Funky Buddha was one of the longest-running clubs in Mayfair, and people still search for it by name, so this page explains what it was and where to go instead.

When it was open, Funky Buddha on Berkeley Street played RnB, hip-hop and funky house to a crowd of loyal regulars, birthday groups and the occasional famous face, and it was known as one of the friendlier doors in Mayfair.

For the same sound and crowd today, Tape London on Hanover Square is the closest match on music, with a much harder door. The London Reign suits birthday groups who want a show, Dear Darling suits groups who want cocktails before the dancing, and Scotch of St James is the heritage choice.
