About Libertine

History: when it was open, Libertine was a club on Winsley Street in Fitzrovia, just north of Oxford Circus and a short walk from Mayfair, with a futuristic look, clean lines and modern lighting, and it played hip-hop and RnB to a fashion-forward crowd. Tables started from £1,000 at the time.

For a table in the same spot today, Selene is the venue that now operates there. Tape London on Hanover Square suits the same hip-hop and RnB crowd, and Dear Darling suits groups who want cocktails before the dancing.

When it was open, Libertine asked for smart, fashion-forward outfits and turned away casual or athletic wear.
