About Lio Club London
Lio Club London has closed. People still search for Lio by name, so this page explains what it was and where to go instead.
History: when it was open, Lio brought the dinner, show and club format of its Ibiza original to Mayfair. Mediterranean dining led into live performers and dancers, and the night ended as a club with upbeat open-format music and an international crowd. Tables started from £1,000 for the club part of the night at the time.
For the same dinner-show-club night today, The London Reign on Piccadilly is the closest match, Cirque Le Soir adds performers around the tables, and Maddox moves from an Italian dinner into a house music club.
Dress Code
When it was open, Lio asked for a glamorous, Ibiza-meets-Mayfair look and enforced its dress code.
The Crowd
When it was open: an international, well-travelled crowd, mostly in their late twenties to early forties.
Best For
Lio Club London has closed. The London Reign, Cirque Le Soir and Maddox suit the same dinner-and-show crowd.
